Dave Winninger fell in the steps of his dad before him, and then fell out of that step and paved his own trail. Dave's dad started an AI operation in 1958, the same year Dave was born. In 1981, Dave and Lora set out on their own business venture, honing in on embryo transfer. They've made it their mission to make embryo transfer in cows as practical as artificial insemination.
Quiet yet integral
Lora has been a steadfast piece of the family business since its very beginning, and in many ways, the beginning can be attributed to her. In her daughter Lacy's words, she has done everything within the business short of sticking her arm in the cow.

Often times, the less glamorous business tasks fall to Lora, from operating a full-blown lab out of a van to filling nitrogen tanks, bookkeeping, and feeding the crew.
Dan and Lacy find their niche within the family operation.
Recips now will be available in Southeastern Wyoming, where Dan and Lacy Hanson and their two kids call home.
Lacy grew up in her family's practice and Dan on the family ranch. Together, they add years of practical ranching, AI and ET experience to the platform already established by Dave and Lora.
